YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN
Sin entered into the world through Adam and Eve, the first couple. (Gen. 3). They chose to embrace what God has forbidden as a result of listening to the devil's opinion; thereby transgressing and sinning against a holy God. They lost the privilege of staying in the Garden of Eden and incurred God's wrath upon themselves. They were cursed and could not fulfill God's original purpose for their lives. Rom. 5: 12; 3:23. This incident passed sin and its penalties upon all men thereby bringing separation between God and man any child born into the world comes automatically with the nature of sin. (Ps. 51: 5).
The above explains how you became a sinner and your need for a Savior. To the Glory of God the Savior is here already in the person of Jesus Christ - God's only begotten Son. (Jn 3: 16) Read the Gospels to get a detail account of his life and ministry. He is the answer to every situation we are facing, our Remedy, The nourished The Door, The only foundation we can stand on. B(Acts 4:12;Jn 14:6) basically he is our everything.
Rejecting him means rejecting the source of life. It is imperative that mankind must return and embrace the divine provision for redemption.
Jesus Christ's death and resurrection brought a new way of life, a new hope
and absolute victory and deliverance to mankind through God's love and grace. He came to reconcile us to God whereby we can confidently enter into the holy of holies and commune with God freely without any hindrance .
Praise The Lord ! Are you excited about all these? Will you surrender your heart to Jesus Christ today? Will you accept the way of escape that God has provided for you ? No controversy ! Jesus is the solution to all life's problems today!
Following his footsteps will earn you everlasting life and a mansion in heaven. I Jn. 3: 8. I admonish you to take a decision today and surrender your life to Jesus Christ whose blood cleanses from sin. You must never postpone your salvation. He paid the full price for your salvation, your healing, and your deliverance from the hand of the enemy. (Luke 1 : 71).
Nicodimus asked, How can a man be born when He is old? Can he enters the second time into his mother's womb, and is born? Do you have the same question on your mind? Salvation is possible to all men and its free. Don't assume you are saved just because your name is Esther, Mary or David. Whether your ancestors were Christian or because you are a deacon/deaconess does not mean you are saved. To be born again you must confess Jesus Christ a your Lord and Savior and a spiritual awakening to walk in holiness and righteousness. Acts 2: 21; Ti 2: 11.
THE FOLLOWING STEPS WILL SHOW YOU HOW TO BE BORN AGAIN:
(1) You must first acknowledge that you are a sinner and that you need to be forgiven, cleansed and restored. (Jn. 3:5; 1 Jn.1:7-9)
(2) You must believe that you have actually been forgiven and purpose to forsake your sins. Confess Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior with your mouth and believe in your heart that he died in your stead and rose again for your justification. (Rom 10:9-10; Lu. 12:8)
Say the following prayer:
My precious heavenly Father; I thank you for your love for me which you have manifested through your Son Jesus who died in my stead and rose again for my justification. I confess all my sins before you. Be merciful unto me Oh Lord; forgive and cleanse me from all my iniquities. I accept and confess Jesus as my Lord and Savior and will stand by this decision forever. I believe and receive by faith all his death and resurrection did for me. I am born again! I receive my deliverance from the corrupt nature of sin. Satan has lost control of my life and I renounce every work of dishonesty and cut off every link with the wretched past and the forces of darkness. I am no longer in bondage and sin will no longer have any dominion over me in Jesus name.
Thank you Jesus for saving me. (Amen).
(3) You need to know your salvation is made possible by God's grace and through faith in Jesus. Thank God and give Him all the glory. (Eph. 2:8-9)
(4) You need to know that no one can condemn you from the moment you surrendered to Christ. You must always confess your sins, do not hide them. (Rom. 8: 1: Pr. 28: 13).
(5) You need to abide by your decision and desire to grow by reading the Bible to find out how to walk as a believer. (Jan 15:4; 11 Corin. 5: 17;Rom 6: 12-14).
The above steps are necessary since you need to know when you actually Confessed Jesus as your personal Lord and savior. However this is not the end so don't get complacent. Purpose to grow spiritually not just to wear Born Again as tag.
Congratulations if you have taken these steps.
My prayer is that you will be deeply rooted and established in faith and that your footsteps will not slide from now on in Jesus name.
1. Purpose in your heart to keep seeking God's face in Spirit and in truth and follow after righteousness and holiness.
2. Study and meditate God's word for spiritual growth.
3. Desire to fellowship with other believers.
4. Desire water baptism and the baptism of Holy Ghost.
