Rev. (Mrs.) Oluyemisi Babajide

She was the Senior Pastor at Glorious Light Christian Ministries, a visionary and an apostle of faith, called and anointed by the Lord to be one of His end-time hand maidens. She was a prayer warrior, a yielded vessel with a passionate desire to be an extension of the hands and feet of Jesus.

This Desire was the driving force behind the commitment and diligence with which she endeavored to pursue the vision God entrusted to her. She had a genuine love and compassion for people and selflessly followed them up to the point of victory and breakthrough. One of her main goals was to see the name of the Lord glorified in people’s lives as He rewrote their life stories.

Her insight into the word was very deep and uncommon. Added to that was her uncanny and practical approach to its truth. Her life and ministry were based on a deep revelation of God’s holiness and righteousness coupled with a great reverential fear of Him.

Rev. Babajide as a speaker, was in great demand and ministered all over the world. Her ministrations, which had a solid emphasis on the uncompromising word of God, were always followed by signs and wonders to the glory of God.

Rev. Babajide authored several books including, “The Joy of Salvation”; “Freedom from Sin”; “Salvation is Free” and the masterpiece on deliverance, “Liberty to the Captives.”

She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her legacy her husband, her soul mate and best friend, Mr. Elijah Akinola Babajide. Through their union of 32 years, God blessed them with several children: Dolapo and Seun, Bunmi, Ayo and Fanny, Tobi and Ikepo, and Opeyemi. She was also blessed with two amazing grandchildren: Damilola and Dunni. She is also survived by several sisters, brothers, In-Laws, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and lots of spiritual children including the members of Glorious Light Christian Ministries all over the world.
